We Are All In Sales. Really It's True.

Just to be clear, I am by no means a salesman but being an entrepreneur and working as a consultant this is something that I have to grapple with almost daily. I am give good presentations but I am no Steve Jobs at least I don't think I am. Until, I thought about it, I kinda am and so are you. We often have to sell ideas while in the workplace, to the PTO, your kids, your friends and even your spouse. Selling can often be the difference from getting what you want or ending up empty handed.

"If you are not getting what you want out of life maybe you are not selling enough." Sales is a mindset and yeah there are some sleazy tactics out there but if you want to move product (slang for make sales) you gotta sell.

Back at It!

OK, the wait is over. I am back at it! I know you missed me. Its been about 2 years since my last post and it has been an interesting 2 years to say the least. That's neither here nor there. So I will be launching this new blog with the same acronym as my last blog but with a twist. Before it was "Work In Progress" which we all still are, the new W.I.P is "Where Information meets Perspective".

You may be asking where did I get the inspiration for this new title. I read a lot of material, from books, blogs, newspapers and magazines. Often times it looks like much of the same perspective is delivered over and over again through various outlets and organizations. I am susceptible to many of the influences that other are in the culture, but my background, strong willed nature and thirst for knowledge allows me to add perspective to many topics. That's what I hope to accomplish through this blog a place where readers can hopefully find a new perspective on many of the topics of today, the past, and the future. This includes technology, pop culture, sports, and life. I hope you return early and often as I provide an intersection Where Information meets Perspective.
